InvenTeam Grant Initiative

The InvenTeam grant initiative, offered by the Lemelson-MIT Program, has been listed on the Orange County Education Department’s website in the past, so I just wanted to send along the updated copy for the 2011 grant cycle:

The Lemelson-MIT Program is currently accepting applications for 2011 InvenTeams, which are teams of high school students, educators, and mentors that receive grants up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions to real-world problems. The InvenTeam initiative is designed to excite high school students about invention, empower students through problem solving, and encourage an inventive culture in schools and communities. The deadline to submit is April 23, 2010. For more information, visithttp://web.mit.edu/inventeams/apply.html.
