Dinner With A Scientist
Keep Tuesday, November 16th open for Dinner With a Scientist! This entertaining and educational evening will offer students and teachers the opportunity to meet and get to know scientific professionals and learn about their careers.

Only 2 Spots Left for HEALTHWISE
This standards based interdisciplinary program targets students in grades 2nd ,5th and 7th grade. Two trained pharmacy students will come to your classroom once a week for seven weeks to teach a standards based hands-on science curriculum to your students. Expanding Your Horizons Career Conference
Saturday, October 9, 2010, University of the Pacific
Expanding Your Horizons is a career conference for young women grades 6th to 12th. The workshops provide an opportunity for the students to learn in greater detail about math, science, engineering, and more!

Exploravision Competition

The ExploraVision competition, now in its 18th year, is an annual event that awards more than $240,000 in savings bonds each year to the winning teams. K-12 students in small groups (2-4), led by a teacher/coach, create a vision of a future technology relevant to their lives or to society in general.

OCRL ROBOTICS FREE CONSULTING
OPEN HOUSES

To encourage the involvement of more young people in robotics clubs and competitions, the Orange County Robotics League (OCRL) will offer free robotics consulting and troubleshooting open houses monthly. These services are intended for VEX Robotics Competition teams, for FIRST Robotics competition teams (all levels) and for individual or organization interested in starting, mentoring or supporting robotics teams for the youth of Orange County. The Orange County Science and Engineering Fair (OCSEF) is an annual event organized to encourage the youth of our county to learn about science and to consider a career in science or engineering.
