Our Mission Statement

The Science Unit of the Orange County Department of Education provides leadership and assistance to Orange County schools and districts in their development of science instruction. Our team is dedicated to developing an educator’s network that will link teachers, district leaders, and community resource agencies throughout Orange County. With enhanced collaboration and communication, teachers will have opportunities to participate in professional development programs that will increase content knowledge, improve teaching methods, and result in greater academic achievement in science.
